Frankie Edgar suffered a tough loss over the weekend. Now reigning UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway has decided to offer his thoughts on the matter.
Former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar faced off against Brian Ortega at UFC 222 on Saturday night, March 3. Prior to the event, “The Answer” had never been finished in his UFC career.
However, Ortega managed to earn a knockout victory over the former title holder within the first round. Now Max Holloway has decided to offer a reaction to the impressive finish.
“You had nothing to gain from taking that fight @FrankieEdgar. But you took it you defended what you already earned. There’s no belt for sacrificing everything but true fans and Jersey knows no belt can outshine what you bring to the sport. Chin up bratha”
