The UFC’s pound for pound king, Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson has finally broken his silence on what he wants next.
The UFC flyweight world champion revealed today, on “The MMA Hour” that at the top of his list is the proposed super fight against UFC bantamweight champion T.J. Dillashaw.
Johnson, also revealed that he wants to face his fellow UFC champion during this year’s international fight week, July 2018.
While live on the air, Johnson said, “That’s the fight that I want. That’s the fight that I believe it should go down. The UFC knows what I want. The biggest thing that I’ve been focusing on is letting [my management] handle that stuff. They’re great managers, and I told them what I want.”
“I think the talks [between my management and the UFC] have kind of gone dormant.”
“Last time we talked about it was six weeks [ago]. We’re trying to shoot for July. International fight week, and we’ll go from there.”
“As far as I know that’s where it’s at.”
