Tough UFC lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov is a mixed martial arts phenom. Undefeated in his fighting career, “The Eagle” has garnered 25 victories to his record. Now a new rumor is claiming that the fighter was just knocked out during practice.
Nurmagomedov has previously claimed to have never been submitted or to have lost a single round in sparring during his training over the years. Now the fighter is gearing up for the biggest fight of his life.
Nurmagomedov is set to face off against UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson for the undisputed title in the main event of UFC 223. The highly anticipated live pay-per-view event is set to go down April 7 inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Now mixed martial arts reporter Jack Slack has taken to social media to report a rumor that Nurmagomedov was knocked out by Zab Judah during a recent sparring session, bringing Nurmagomedov undefeated sparring streak into question. Check out Slack’s original report below:
“Hearing rumours out of AKA that Zab Judah and Khabib were going at it hard and Khabib got knocked out in a wild exchange. Khabib kicked everyone out of the gym… more news to come.”
