Rising UFC knockout artist Francis Ngannou is coming off of a tough decision loss in an attempt for the heavyweight title. Following the defeat, the fighter faced some harsh criticism from fellow UFC heavyweight Derrick Lewis. Now Ngannou has fired back with a heated response of his own.
Francis Ngannou earned a shot at the UFC heavyweight title after knocking out former K-1 champion and former top contender Alistair Overeem. However when Ngannou went toe-to-toe with reigning champion Stipe Miocic, the fighter faced a tough unanimous decision loss that drew heavy criticism from fight fans.
As seen in the video above, Derrick Lewis would go on to criticize Ngannou for his apparent lack of conditioning within the fight. Taking to Twitter, Ngannou now has a response for the fighter.
“Derrick has been talking some of his sh*t while I was off . Can someone please let him know that I’m here now, so if he really wants me, he should send his manager to deal with @ufc”
