Replay: Dana White’s Reaction To The Knocking Out Of Frankie Edgar … And He’s Very Impressed

Undefeated mixed martial arts phenom Brian Ortega shocked the world over the weekend. Now UFC President Dana White has come forward with his thoughts on the fighter’s impressive knockout performance.

UFC 222 went down on Saturday night, March 3, inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. In the night’s co-main event, former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar faced off against Brian Ortega.

Edgar had never been finished in his illustrious mixed martial arts career leading up to UFC 222. All the same, Ortega earned a knockout victory over “The Answer” within the first round of their octagon war.

Speaking at the UFC 222 Post-Fight Press Conference, Dana White offered his impressions from the exciting performance.

“The guy is so incredible and well rounded.” White said, speaking of Brian Ortega. “You know you think when he goes in there and fights Frankie Edgar, you would bet anything that he is going to submit him if he is going to win. Then he goes in and knocks him out in the first round.

“This kid is super talented and has incredible personality.”
