UFC President Dana White has come a long way since his implementation as the promotion’s head back in 2001. Now a video of the UFC president’s transformation through the years has made its way to the internet.
Dana White convinced his childhood friend Lorenzo Fertitta and brother Frank Fertitta to purchase the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) back in 2001. Now the once budding promotion has become the most famous MMA promotion in the world, hosting the top level of talent on its roster.
In the video above, fight fans can see the transformation Dana White has made over the past 17 years. The UFC itself has undergone quite a few changes as well. The acquisition of the WEC and Strikeforce were huge moments for the company.
The UFC eventually made a uniform deal with sports apparel company Reebok, as well as an arrangement with USADA as the promotion’s new anti-doping watch dogs. Endeavor would go on to purchase the UFC for a matter of billions of dollars, with Dana White remaining as the promotion’s president.
