Mixed martial arts veteran Tim Kennedy has put on a storied career in the sport. A former UFC middleweight, Kennedy has faced off against some seriously tough and talented competitors inside the octagon. With that in mind, the former fighter is now undertaking an entirely new level of tough challenges.
Tim Kennedy is not only a world class mixed martial artist, but also a military veteran. The former fighter is an active member of the U.S. Army Special Forces, with lengthy experience as a sniper and a sniper instructor under his belt.
Always driven to improve his bevy of eclectic skills, Tim Kennedy recently participated in an exercise meant to simulate a helicopter submerging into water after a crash.
In the video above, Kennedy can be seen being strapped into a chassis designed to simulate the cockpit of a helicopter. From there, the chassis is submerged into a pool while Kennedy remains strapped in.
The military veteran is then tasked with escaping the sinking chassis without the use of any breathing apparatuses. Check out the intense moment in the video up above.
