The world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion is just over a week away from hosting one of the year’s most highly anticipated title fights. Now hilarious character Tommy Toe Hold has come forward with a parody interview with the night’s title challengers.
UFC 223 is set to go down April 7 inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The highly anticipated live pay-per-view event is set to see UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson take on tough contender Khabib Nurmagomedov in the main event.
The trash-talking between “El Cucuy” and “The Eagle” has quickly been approaching a critical mass as the two mixed martial arts warriors come closer to meeting inside the octagon. Ferguson and Nurmagomedov have been scheduled to meet toe-to-toe under the UFC banner multiple times now.
However, bad weight cuts and debilitating injuries have kept the fighters from ever meeting inside the octagon. Now Nurmagomedov and Ferguson are set to fight for the undisputed lightweight title at UFC 223.
