18 Of Saturday’s UFC Fighters Made $5k Or Less Under New UFC Payout Plan

Saturday’s UFC on FOCX 29 event didn’t disappoint.

The night’s main card aired live and free on FOX, and was capped off by a fight of the year contender between Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje.

In the night’s main event, Poirier and Gaethje threw down in a back and forth affair until Poirier finally found the right shot and knocked out Gaethje in round four of their bout.

Other notables competed on the main stage as well. Carlos Condit, Israel Adesanya, and Michelle Waterson all fought on the night’s main card.

Each fighter on the card got compensated for wearing the UFC’s official Reebok attire, and 18 of the night’s competitors didn’t break $5,000.00 for their efforts.
