Canelo Tweets And Deletes Response To GGG’s Viral Steroid Video Diss

It would appear that boxing phenom Canelo Alvarez was briefly took to social media with a response for boxing champion Gennady Golovkin’s recent viral video concerning the pugilist’s drug test failure. Now the message has been deleted, but fans can still get a glimpse at what Alvarez had to say.

Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin first met inside the squared circle back in 2017, with the match ultimately ending in a highly controversial draw. The two were scheduled for an immediate rematch for May 5, inside the same T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas, Nev.

However, the bout was cancelled after Canelo Alvarez failed a drug test for the substance clenbuterol. The boxer claims the substance entered his system through contaminated beef.

Golovkin would go on to star in a Jordan commercial that featured a coach eating beef, while discussing the “secret ingredient” to boxing. The coach then reveals the ingredient to be “hard work,” as the camera focuses on Golovkin hard in training.
