Cody Garbrandt Leaks Info That TJ Dillashaw Is The Lance Armstrong Of MMA

Former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt has come forward with a heated statement, accusing reigning title holder and heated rival T.J. Dillashaw of using performance enhancing drugs.

Garbrandt and Dillashaw have been going at it over social media for some time now. The two fighters were once teammates at the highly regarded training camp Team Alpha Male.

However, Dillashaw has been ostracized from the Sacramento gym and has quickly become a heated rival of “No Love’s.” The two met inside the octagon back at UFC 217, with Garbrandt nearly finishing the fighter in the first round. Still, Dillashaw ultimately earned a TKO over his opponent in the second round for the title.

Now the two are set to settle the score in an immediate rematch. Dillashaw and Garbrandt will face off on the highly anticipated live pay-per-view card of UFC 217.

The event will take place Nov. 4 inside the illustrious Madison Square Garden Arena in New York.

Taking to Twitter, Cody Garbrandt recently decided to give Dillashaw a piece of his mind leading up to the big rematch.

“UFC told me how many excuses you made not to fight me.”

Dillashaw would go on to fire back with a response.

“SMH. Last time I checked, we just did a press conference in NY promoting our fight August 4th in LA.”

However, Garbrandt has since retaliated by accusing Dillashaw of using Erythropoietin (EPO). The red blood cell enhancing performance drug was made famous by cycling legend Lance Armstrong, who’s career largely took an infamous turn after the reveal of using the substance.

“No sh*t! I’m talking about the March fight and then you said you were hurt, must be all that EPO going to your head! Have a safe camp see you in August!”
