The time has finally come. Mixed martial arts veteran Carlos Condit is gearing up to step inside the octagon once again.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is hosting the highly anticipated fight card of UFC on FOX 29 tonight, April 14, inside the Gila River Arena in Glendale, Arizona.
Co-headlining the night’s incredible series of fights, Carlos Condit and Alex Oliveira are now set to go toe-to-toe for division dominance. Check out the UFC results below.
Condit and Oliveira started the first round with a bang. Oliveira landed a massive right hand, but Condit appeared to simply shake off the strike.
Oliveira managed to get his opponent to the canvas, but Condit reversed the position and took Oliveira’s back. The fighter then locked in a rear-naked choke attempt, but failed to get a finish before the sound of the bell.
The second round escalated the pace with an intense striking exchange. Oliveira and Condit earned takedowns over each other, with Condit ultimately suffered a cut to his head that began to bleed profusely.
However Oliveira then locked in a guillotine choke on Condit, leading to the end of the fight.
