Formerly dominant women’s UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk is now coming off of a tough two fight losing streak. With that in mind, the fighter now claims that UFC President Dana White was “disgusted” by the judges’ scorecards in her last octagon performance.
Joanna Jedrzejczyk suffered the end of her undefeated streak and her title reign at UFC 217. Rose Namajunas stepped inside the octagon and earned a TKO finish over the fighter within the first round.
In their immediate rematch at UFC 223, the fight ultimately went the distance. In the end, Namajunas defended her title with a unanimous decision victory. However, Jedrzejczyk was not happy with the 49-46 official scoring for Namajunas.
Speaking to polsatsport.pl, Jedrzejczyk claimed that she is not the only person in disagreement with the decision.
“Even Rose’s coach said after the verdict that I won that fight.”
“Numbers don’t lie. Commission in New York is very young. They are still learing how to score fights. Dana White was also a little bit disgusted by the scoring.”
