The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is in Atlantic City, New Jersey tonight, April 21, for the mixed martial arts promotion’s latest fight card. The exciting fight card of UFC Fight Night 128 is going down inside the Boardwalk Hall for the Atlantic City crowd, offering a series of exciting match ups.
Continuing the night of fights, bantamweights Merab Dvalishvili and former Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series competitor Ricky Simon are now throwing down inside the octagon. Check out the UFC results below.
The first round kicked off with a bang. Dvalishvili put on a dominant performance over his opponent, pummeling Simon with a series of strikes. However, the fighter was unable to get a finish before the sound of the bell.
Simon retaliated with a vengeance in the second round, but seemingly failed to get the better of his opponent in the exchanges. Dvalishvili continued to dish out some serious striking, pummeling the fighter for much of the round.
The final round was an ecstatic one. Simon managed to lock in a choke on Dvalishvili, squeezing for the finish. While Simon initially did not receive a stoppage victory for the choke, it would later be determined that the fighter’s opponent was unconscious in the final moments of the round.
