Undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. was the alleged target of a shooting earlier this month. Having been struck by a bullet during the incident, one of Mayweather’s bodyguards has come forward with a statement.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. was making a promotional appearance in the Medusa nightclub in Atlanta, Georgia early in April. Riding alongside the boxer’s multiple SUVs as Mayweather was leaving the club, a shooter fired upon the vehicles.
One of Mayweather’s bodyguards was injured in the process, having been shot in the leg. The individual has since received medical attention and is now on the road to recovery.
