Undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather Jr. was recently the target of a shooting. With that in mind, the retired pugilist has now made his first public appearance since the incident.
“Money” Mayweather was in Atlanta, Georgia on Monday, April 9. The former boxer made a promotional appearance at Club Medusa before heading to a local Waffle House with his entourage.
A shooter then drove by the former boxer’s group of SUV’s and fired multiple rounds. One of Mayweather’s bodyguards was shot in the leg during the incident.
The individual has since been provided medical attention and is reportedly in stable condition. The identity of the shooter or the reason behind the alleged attempt on Mayweather’s life has yet to be revealed.
