UFC superstar Conor McGregor recently turned the MMA world on its head when he decided to show up backstage for the UFC 223 Media Day. Following the Irish native’s recent incident at the event, pop sensation Justin Bieber has come forward with his thoughts on the matter.
Conor McGregor and a large entourage of the fighter’s were backstage for UFC 223 Media Day on Thursday inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The fighter was allegedly looking to retaliate after undefeated UFC lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov had a confrontation with SBG Ireland teammate Artem Lobov in a hotel days earlier.
McGregor and his large group of individuals then allegedly attacked a UFC bus filled with fighters set to compete at UFC 223, including Khabib Nurmagomedov. Several people were injured during the incident, including fighters Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg.
McGregor is now facing three misdemeanor charges of assault and a felony charge of criminal mischief. Speaking to TMZ Sports, as seen within the video below, Justin Bieber explained that he believes McGregor will “be fine” following the recent incident.
“I think Conor will be fine,” Bieber stated. “We all make mistakes.”
