The highly anticipated main event of UFC 223 has experienced some changes over the weekend. Now a hilarious animated video summarizing the experience has made its way onto the internet.
UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson was initially set to throw down with tough division contender Khabib Nurmagomedov in the main event of UFC 223. With UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor having been inactive since 2016, “Notorious” was set to be stripped at the touch of the gloves for UFC 223, leaving Ferguson and Nurmagomedov to battle it out for the undisputed title.
However, “El Cucuy” has since injured himself. Consequently, Nurmagomedov is now set to face off against UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway for the lightweight title in the night’s main event.
