MMA has a new and very real rivalry in the landscape, following last week’s incident between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor.
In what started out as a hotel altercation between Khabib and Artem Lobov, these two camps turned to sworn enemies when Conor McGregor and a large group of men attacked the UFC transport bus carrying Khabib.
Now, this passion between parties has spilled over into the hometown front.
In Khabib’s native Dagestan, grocers have relabeled their chicken product Conor McGregor.
