Former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor is making headlines for an incident that left multiple injured and the Irish native facing misdemeanor and felony charges. Now fellow UFC superstar Miesha Tate has come forward with her thoughts on the matter.
Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor’s teammate Artem Lobov had a physical confrontation within a hotel days ahead of UFC 223. In retaliation, “Notorious” and a large entourage allegedly attacked a bus inside the Barclays Center filled with UFC fighters on April 5.
While Nurmagomedov was reportedly the target, multiple individuals were injured in the incident. UFC fighters Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg were ultimately pulled from their respective UFC 223 match ups due to injuries sustained in the fracas.
Having turned himself in to local authorities, Conor McGregor is now facing misdemeanor charges of assault and a felony charge of criminal mischief. Within the video below, former women’s UFC bantamweight champion Miesha Tate offered her thoughts on the matter.
