Pic: Joanna’s Face Covered In Bandages Day After UFC 223 Loss To Rose

Former women’s UFC strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk suffered another brutal loss over the weekend. Now a photo of the fighter’s face seemingly covered in bandages is making its way around the internet.

Prior to UFC 217, Joanna Jedrzejczyk was undefeated. The fighter had accrued a professional record of 14-0, as Jedrzejczyk was quickly becoming one of the most dominant champions in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC).

However, Rose Namajunas stunned the world when she earned the strawweight title by putting Jedrzejczyk away within the first round of their match up at UFC 217 for a TKO victory. The two mixed martial artists were scheduled for an immediate rematch shortly thereafter.

Jedrzejczyk and Namajunas went toe-to-toe once again at UFC 223 over the weekend, with the fight ultimately going the distance. This time, Namajunas earned a unanimous decision victory over her opponent.

Jedrzejczyk suffered some serious damage to her face during the fight, as Namajunas was consistently landing the powerful left hook to the face that took Jedrzejczyk out within the first round of their previous fight. Now a photo of Jedrzejczyk covering her face from the camera has made its way onto the internet.

Within the image, Jedrzejczyk’s face can be seen seemingly covered in bandages a day after the brutal exchange with the still reigning champion. Check it out below:
