Dillon Danis is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu phenom that has taken on some of the toughest and most talented competitors within the sport. That being said, the grappling ace was untested in the world of mixed martial arts until this weekend. Now a video replay of Danis’ big win has made its way onto the internet.
Dillon Danis first gained the attention of MMA fans as the BBJ coach to UFC megastar and former two-division champion Conor McGregor. However, Danis made his debut inside the cage on Saturday, April 28.
Mixed martial arts promotion Bellator MMA was in Rosemont, Illinois on Saturday to host the highly anticipated fight card of Bellator 198 from within the Allstate Arena. Featured on the night’s card, Dillon Danis went toe-to-toe with Kyle Walker for his big MMA debut.
Walker was 2-3 when he faced off against Danis, having suffered a submission defeat in his last two bouts. Danis made short work of the fighter, earning a toe hold submission victory within the first round.
