Sterling Derails The Hype Train, Gives Johns His First Professional Loss

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is in Atlantic City, New Jersey tonight, April 21, to host another exciting night of bouts. The highly anticipated fight card of UFC Fight Night 128 is going down inside the Boardwalk Hall for the Atlantic City crowd, offering a series of stunning fights.

Continuing the night’s main card lineup, bantamweights Aljamain Sterling and undefeated rising prospect Brett Johns are facing off for division supremacy. Check out the UFC results below.

The first round kicked off at a methodical pace. Sterling quickly went for a takedown, pressuring his opponent into the fence. Back in the center of the octagon, the two mixed martial artists began trading blows.

In the end, Sterling seemingly earned a dominant round over his opponent.

Johns opened up the second round with a vengeance. The fighter began trading shots with Sterling in a heated series of exchanges.

The final round featured a brutal exchange. The fighters kept things standing for much of the match up, trading a series of punishing blows.
