Women’s UFC strawweight champion Rose Namajunas is gearing up for her first title defense. Now the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has provided some intense footage from the fighter’s training.
Rose Namajunas shocked the world when she finished formerly undefeated champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 217. Jedrzejczyk was quickly going down as one of the promotion’s most dominant champions, when Namajunas earned a first round TKO over the fighter for the title.
Now Jedrzejczyk and Namajunas are set to throw down in an immediate rematch in the co-main event of UFC 223. The exciting live pay-per-view event will go down this Saturday, April 7, inside the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
