The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has been scrambling to find a replacement opponent for Carlos Condit. Now it would appear that one fighter has reached a verbal agreement.
Mixed martial arts veterans Carlos Condit and Matt Brown were initially set to co-headliner UFC on FOX 29. The event goes down in Glendale, Arizona on April 14 and is set to feature a series of exciting match ups.
However, Brown has since been removed from the night’s card after suffering a torn ACL. Now Combate has reported that Alex “Cowboy” Oliveira has reached a verbal agreement to replace Matt Brown in the upcoming event. However, a contractual agreement has yet to be reached.
Still, it would appear that Carlos Condit already has a fighter lined up to face him.
