UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley is currently recovering from a recent surgery. Consequently, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has elected to host an interim title fight at UFC 225. That being said, Woodley is now claiming that the interim belt never needed to enter the equation in the first place.
Former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos is set to face off against Colby Covington for the interim title at UFC 225. The highly anticipated fight card goes down June 9 inside the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The event will be featured live on pay-per-view.
Taking to Twitter, Tyron Woodley is now claiming that the UFC may have incorrectly informed one of the fighters that he was unavailable to compete. Check it out below:
“Bruh Sad to see fighters being played. I accepted to fight @RdosAnjosMMA July made# be June if I was given more time to let them know if im good. He fighting Qweefington for no reason”
