While UFC lightweight Dustin Poirier has been getting attention over social media as of late for showing off photos of his recent fight wounds, it would appear that former UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson may have just overdone it.
Dustin Poirier put on a fight of the year contender over the weekend. The fighter faced off against Justin Gaethje for the headliner of UFC on FOX 29. Poirier ultimately earned a fourth round TKO victory over his opponent, but suffered some brutalizing injuries in the process.

Of course, Tony Ferguson has been facing an injury of his own as of late. The fighter was initially set to face off against Khabib Nurmagomedov for the undisputed UFC lightweight title in the main event of UFC 223.
