Anthony Pettis vs. Michael Chiesa Reportedly Rebooked For Already Stacked Card

UFC lightweight Michael Chiesa was initially set to face off against fellow tough contender Anthony Pettis at UFC 223. Following the fracas inside the Barclays Center involving Conor McGregor, Chiesa was injured and ultimately removed from the card.

Now MMA Fighting has reported that Chiesa and Pettis are now set to face off on the stacked fight card of UFC 226.

UFC 226 is a live pay-per-view event set to go down July 7 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. The night’s main event is set to see UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier move up in weigh to challenge reigning UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic for his title.

Meanwhile, UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway will be throwing down with undefeated rising challenger Brian Ortega in the night’s co-headliner.
