While it’s not as big as Rory MacDonald’s $500,000 Bellator salary, fellow UFC veteran Ryan Bader isn’t doing too bad for himself under the Bellator MMA banner.
Saturday’s Bellator 199 event took place in Los Angeles, California. That means fighter salaries are disclosed by the California State Athletic Commission.
As such, we get to see just how well some notable UFC fighters are making under the Viacom owned Bellator MMA promotion.
Bellator 199 headliner Ryan Bader tied for an event high of $150,000.00 flat. Longtime UFC heavyweight veteran Cheick Kongo also made $150,000.00. And former UFC welterweight title challenger Jon Fitch cashed in with $120,000.00 for his win over Paul Daley.
Daley, another UFC veteran, made $30,000.00 for his loss.
