Benavidez Feels Disrespected After Going 6-0, Being Ranked #1, And Being Put On Fight Pass

Top UFC flyweight contender Joseph Benavidez is gearing up for his big octagon return. Despite his position as the No. 1 contender and being on a staggeringly large winning streak, the fighter is being featured on the UFC Fight Pass prelims. Now Benavidez has come forward with his thoughts on the matter.

Benavidez is now set to face off against Sergio Pettis in a massive flyweight war for division dominance on the highly anticipated fight card of UFC 225. The live pay-per-view event will take place June 9 inside the United Center in Chicago, Illinois.

However, Benavidez is set to compete on the UFC’s streaming service UFC Fight Pass in one of the opening preliminary matches of the night. Speaking to MMA Weekly, Benavidez offered his thoughts on the matter.

To Benavidez, the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is seemingly “snubbing” the flyweight division by placing him on the UFC Fight Pass. Check out the fighter’s full thoughts below:
