Undefeated UFC welterweight Darren Till made his latest octagon performance over the weekend. Following his missed weight for the match up, the Liverpool native has come forward with a statement for critical contender Colby Covington.
Darren Till headlined UFC Fight Night 130 on Sunday, May 27, in a match up against Stephen Thompson. Till missed weight for the fight by 3.5 pounds, but “Wonderboy” ultimately accepted a catchweight match against the fighter.
Having gone the distance, Till ultimately earned a unanimous decision victory over his opponent. UFC welterweight Colby Covington was seemingly not impressed. Taking to Twitter, Covington stated:

Speaking to media after his big win, Till addressed the criticism he has bee receiving from fighters concerning his weight management issue.
“A lot of fighters jumping on the bandwagon to hate on me.” Till said. :Recently Kevin Lee missed weight. It does happen. I’m embarrassed over it.”
