Competitors for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) do more than fight. Those that find themselves on the roster of the world’s most famous mixed martial arts promotion are also required to participated in a series of media obligations.
Well, this time around, a women’s strawweight competitor was met with a rather unexpected direction while posing for an UFC photo.
UFC women’s strawweight Tatiana Suarez faced off against Alexa Grasso in the co-headliner of Saturday’s highly anticipated UFC Fight Night 129 fight card on May 19. In promotion for the fight, Suarez was required to take a few photos for the UFC.
In the video above, Suarez can be seen posing for the photographer. While crossing her arms under her chest, the photographer stated “That’s perfect right there. That way we can still see the UFC, we can still see your assets a little bit.”
The statement has since been drawing some controversy, as the photographer was seemingly referring to the fighter’s breasts. The incident may be viewed within the video above.
