Undefeated UFC welterweight Darren Till is gearing up to face off against a seriously tough opponent. With that in mind, the fighter has now come forward to reveal his pre-fight weight ahead of the match up.
Darren Till is now set to face two-time former UFC welterweight title challenger Stephen Thompson in the main event of UFC Fight Night 130. The highly anticipated fight card will take place May 27 inside the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England.
Speaking to MMAnytt.se, Darren Till recently offered a few words concerning his pre-fight weight.
“I’m always big at the end of the day. Weight is exactly the same as it was for Cerrone, more or less. I’m never going to sit here and say ‘Oh my god, I’ve got an easy cut for weight, great.’ It’s always a hard cut for weight.”
Till revealed ahead of his previous fight against Donald Cerrone that he was nearly 200 pounds come fight night. Consequently, it would appear that Till is likely well over 190 pounds ahead of his match up against “Wonderboy.”
