Undefeated UFC welterweight Darren Till is getting some serious heat from fighters and fight fans for missing weight on Saturday. Now knockout artist “Platinum” Mike Perry has come forward with his thoughts on the matter.
Darren Till is set to headline UFC Fight Night 130 in a match up against two-time former UFC welterweight title challenger Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson. However, Till missed weight for the fight by 3.5 pounds.
Thompson has since accepted a catchweight match against Till for 30 percent of the fighter’s purse and Till is required to make a second weigh-in on Sunday. The fighter will have to be 188 pounds or lighter, otherwise the fight will be cancelled.
Taking to Twitter, Mike Perry has decided to offer his thoughts on the situation. Check it out below:
“Gotta spend money to make money, @darrentill2 has the advantage now. In a game of milliseconds 4lbs can make you or break you @ufc”
