Nick Diaz Is Out Of Jail, Posts Video Of His Own Serious Injury
Former Strikeforce and WEC champion Nick Diaz was arrested on Friday, May 25, by Las Vegas Police and taken to the Clark County Detention Center. The fighter has since made bail. Taking to social media, the Stockton native has decided to show off a brutal wound.
Diaz is now facing a felony charge of domestic battery by strangulation, as well as a misdemeanor charge of domestic battery. The alleged victim was later identified as female and was transported to a local hospital following the incident.
Diaz had his court hearing at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, May 26, before making his $18,000 bail. Following the initial reports of the incident, Diaz’s friend Matt Staudt took to social media to offer his opinion on the matter.
Over Instagram, Staudt claimed that the alleged victim was a woman that he believes has been stalking Diaz for years. Staudt went on to claim that the woman allegedly falsified the entire ordeal for which Diaz is now facing charges.
Now Nick Diaz has taken to social media to share a video of a wound he received on his elbow. It is unclear when or where the fighter sustained the injury. Check out a video of the moment within the clip above.
