Bellator welterweight Paul Daley and former Strikeforce and WEC champion Nick Diaz once squared off inside the cage. Now Daley is looking to face off against the Stockton native for a rematch.
Paul Daley faced off against Diaz back 2011 under the banner of Strikeforce. Diaz made short work of his opponent, earning a first round TKO victory over the fighter.
With that in mind, it would appear that Daley is looking for a rematch. Speaking on the latest edition of The MMA Hour, Paul Daley was asked what is next for his career. Daley offered a few options. Among them, the fighter revealed that he wants to take on Diaz once again. However, Daley did so only after accusing Diaz of being in rehab.
“I going to have to drag Nick Diaz out of rehab. I’ve heard he’s in Rehab and having tough times. [I’ll] have to drag his ugly ass out of rehab and get the rematch with him and put on another entertaining fight for the fans.”
Of course, one look at Nick’s Instagram and the man is certainly not in rehab….
