Mixed martial arts veteran Phil Baroni recently took a break from his independent professional wrestling career to take another crack at the sport of MMA. Making his big return to MMA since nearly four years away from the sport, Baroni managed to score a vicious knockout victory.
With that in mind, things still did not all turn out well for the fighter.
Baroni was featured in the big main event of King of the Cage’s latest fight card. The fighter went toe-to-toe with Matt Lagler, stunning the fighter with a vicious knockout.
After the fight, the San Diego, Calif. crowd began vehemently booing Baroni. Then, the fighter was struck in the head with a water bottle. Check it out within the video above.
