“Platinum” Mike Perry Leaves Florida, Moves Training Camp To New Mexico

UFC welterweight Mike Perry is currently gearing up for his next big octagon performance. Now the fighter has come forward to reveal that he will be changing training camps in preparation for his upcoming match up.

“Platinum” Mike Perry is coming off of a tough two fight losing streak, having suffered unanimous decision defeats to Santiago Ponzinibbio and most recently Max Griffin. Now the Florida native is set to take on Yancy Medeiros.

Taking to Instagram, Perry has since come forward to reveal that he is moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico’s Jackson-Wink MMA in preparation for the fight. Check it out below:

“I’m gonna miss my training partners while I’m training in New Mexico so I’m leaving them with something to help them remember all the good times we had ! Shout out”

Perry would later take to the social media platform once again to share a photo from his first day at Jackson-Wink MMA.

Perry and Medeiros will throw down at UFC 226. The highly anticipated live pay-per-view event will take place July 7 inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev.
