The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is now only days away from hosting its next highly anticipated fight card. With that in mind, it would appear that the mixed martial arts promotion is now another fight short for the night’s card.
UFC Fight Night 130 is set to go down this Sunday, May 27, inside the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England. Set to headline the night’s event, two-time former UFC welterweight title challenger Stephen Thompson is set to throw down with undefeated fighter Darren Till in a battle for division dominance.
However, it would appear that the fight night has lost another match up. First, it was revealed that Gunnar Nelson would have to pull out of the night’s co-headliner after suffering a knee injury. While the UFC managed to find a replacement opponent for Neil Magny, it would appear that another fight on the card has been scrapped all together.
As reported by MMANYTT.com, the bantamweight match up between Manny Bermudez and Davey Grant has been scrapped from UFC Fight Night 130. Grant has reportedly been dealing with a staph infection.
