Mixed martial arts veteran Donald Cerrone is set to throw down with up and coming fighter Leon Edwards in the main event of UFC Fight Night 132. Following some trash-talk from Edwards, Cerrone has fired back with a response of his own.
Leon Edwards recently referred to “Cowboy” as “old.” Speaking in a new promo for the event, Cerrone revealed his thoughts on the matter.
“Yo, Leon, there is no need for us to be angry with each other right now. He called me old and slow. So I told him he has to go home an tell his mamma that an old and slow man beat your ass.”
“Leon Edwards, young, up-and-coming fighter that does not want to play fair. He wants to run his mouth and tell the world all the things he is going to do to me. It’s good, go ahead. I tried to be cordial and I tried to be cool. Now you are getting a pissed off ‘Cowboy.’ I don’t even have to talk to you after I beat your ass, so that’s cool.”
