Former two-division UFC champion Georges St-Pierre has not competed inside the octagon since vacating his middleweight title due to a debilitating case of colitis. Still, UFC lightweight contender Kevin Lee is campaigning for a fight against the French-Canadian phenom at a weight class that has yet to be created.
Kevin Lee is riding a TKO victory over Edson Barboza. Taking to Instagram, the fighter has now decided to call out St-Pierre to a fight at a 165 weight class. The 165 pound division does not currently exist within the UFC, but has been asked for by multiple fighters.
Now it would appear that Lee would like to take on St-Pierre in a fight for the non-existent division’s inaugural title.
“October: Khabib vs Conor Mcgregor 155lb title
November: George St Pierre vs Kevin Lee 165lb title
Tyron Woodley vs Colby Covington 175lb title unification”
