UFC welterweight Mike Perry has had some changes made to his next octagon performances. Following the acceptance of his short notice opponent, the talented knockout artist has now come forward with a statement.
Mike Perry was initially set to face off against Yancy Medeiros on the highly anticipated fight card of UFC 226. The two were set to throw down on July 7 for International Fight Week.
UFC 226 will go down live on pay-per-view from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. However, Yancy Medeiros has since pulled out of the fight due to an injury.
Consequently, Paul Felder has since stepped up on short notice to accept Medeiros’ place against Mike Perry. Taking to Twitter, Perry has since come forward with his thoughts on the matter.
