McGregor’s Camp Breaks Silence On Next Fight, And All Signs Point To Khabib

UFC superstar Conor McGregor is currently awaiting his next court date after allegedly attacking a bus filled with UFC fighters. With Khabib Nurmagomedov having reportedly been the target of the attack, a fight between McGregor and “The Eagle” is now long rumored. Now McGregor’s striking coach has come forward with a few words on the matter.

Speaking to MMAnytt.se, SBG Ireland striking coach Owen Roddy revealed that a fight against Nurmagomedov is “brewing up nicely.”

“I can’t confirm anything, but it would be great to get Conor. Conor’s training hard. He’s always training. He’s motivated. He wants to fight. It’s just that, a few things need to get sorted out then he’s negotiate a good deal for his next fight.

“I think it will be another big spectacle, like they always are.”

“I don’t know, but I think he’s at the forefront.”

“I’m sure it’s just down to the negotiations, but I think it is building. I think this kind of started similarly with the Mayweather fight.”

“It’s brewing up nicely.”
