Daniel Cormier Likely To Have Size Advantage Over Stipe Miocic?

UFC light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier is moving up in weight to challenge reigning UFC heavyweight title holder Stipe Miocic for his belt. While most fight fans seem to assume that Cormier will enter the fight as the physically smaller competitor, Chael Sonnen believes otherwise.

Cormier and Miocic are set to throw down on July 7 through the live pay-per-view broadcast for UFC 226. Cormier will be returning to the heavyweight division for the fight, in which the competitor is currently undefeated within.

Speaking on his podcast, as seen within the video above, mixed martial arts veteran Chael Sonnen revealed his thoughts on the match up.

“I feel like this is one of the best kept secrets in MMA right now.” Sonnen said. “I don’t have the answer for it, but the question is how much does Daniel Cormier weigh?

“I will not be surprised, to the point that I will make a prediction for you guys now, that when they weigh-in Daniel Cormier is heavier than Stipe.”
