Former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has been enjoying a career within the heavyweight division as of late. Now the former champion has come forward to reveal that he has no intentions of returning to the light heavyweight class.
“Rampage” most recently faced off against fellow former UFC competitor Chael Sonnen at Bellator 192, as part of the promotion’s heavyweight tournament grand prix. While Jackson suffered a unanimous decision loss to his opponent, the heavyweight is looking to stay within the division.
Speaking on ESPN’s Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show, Quinton Jackson revealed his lack of interest in fighting at light heavyweight. When asked about the possibility of returning to the division, Jackson retorted “I ain’t no light heavyweight anymore.”
