Well, the time has finally come. Former UFC women’s bantamweight title challenger Valentina Shevchenko’s older sister is now making her debut on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series.
Week three of the second season for Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series is going down inside the TUF Gym in Las Vegas, Nev tonight, June 26. Headlining the event, Antonina Shevchenko will be looking to join her younger sister among the UFC roster as she faced off against Jaymee Neivara. The UFC results may be seen below.
Shevchenko fired out of the gate with some brutal kicks. Locking in the clinch, the fighter began wailing out more vicious strikes. Neivara eventually found herself on the canvas, as Shevchenko gained the dominant position.
This was seemingly a dominant round for the Muay Thai phenom Shevchenko.
The second round stayed largely on the feet, with Shevchenko putting on another dominant performance. This time around, the Muay Thai veteran pummeled her opponent with a series of knees that brought an end to the contest.
