Former WWE star CM Punk decided to forgo his professional wrestling career for a chance in the spotlight as a mixed martial artist back in 2016. For his MMA debut, Punk went toe-to-toe with Mickey Gall at UFC 203 and suffered a brutal submission loss.
Nearly two years later, CM Punk went toe-to-toe with fellow 0-1 fighter Mike Jackson at UFC 225. This time, Punk suffered a lopsided unanimous decision defeat.
Since then, the former WWE star has been readily receiving some heated criticism from fighters and fight fans alike. On the Sunday pay-per-view broadcast of Money in the Bank, WWE’s Booker T decided to join in on the bandwagon.
