SBG Ireland head coach John Kavanagh is coach to UFC superstar Conor McGregor. Now a video of the coach punching a comedian over McGregor’s defense has come forward over the internet.
John Kavanagh allegedly struck a comedian at a recent comedy show. Taking to Twitter, the head coach offered a comment concerning the incident.
“Times we live in no doubt videos going up. What you won’t see is the lead up and him in my face for half an hour. Probably shouldn’t have done it but most don’t experience this type of aggression on a daily experience.”

Comedian Adam Hills later took to Twitter to respond to Kavanagh’s message. The comedian revealed that he was the individual allegedly struck by the head coach. Furthermore, Hills claimed that he was considering legal action against Kavanagh.
“Can’t believe a MMA coach would come to a comedy festival then resort to violence when someone makes a joke about him. Considering legal action.”
