After the success of Daniel Cormier vs. Stipe Miocic at last weekend’s UFC 226 event, the UFC is eyeing another super-fight between two champions.
According to UFC featherweight champion Cris Cyborg, the UFC has offered her a fight against UFC bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes. The bout is apparently proposed for UFC 228, set to go down in Dallas on September 8.
Here’s Cyborg’s announcement:
I agreed for second time , fight Amanda Nunes September 8 #UFCdallas #UFC228 my last fight was 4 months ago. I’m ready to fight.

If booked, this bout will likely be for Cris Cyborg’s undisputed featherweight world title, giving Nunes the opportunity to be the first ever two division female UFC champion.
