UFC women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg has revealed an interest in turning to the sport of boxing in the past. Following the astounding success of Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather Jr.’s massive pay-per-view boxing match back in 2017, Cyborg believes that it may be close to her time to do the same.
Speaking to TMZ Sports, Cris Cyborg revealed that she is interested in taking on boxing’s best.
“I would like to make a boxing fight. I think McGregor-Mayweather opened the door for this,” Cyborg said. “Maybe I can make the best girl in boxing against the best girl in MMA and make a great fight for the fans.”
